The Terps have to win tonight.  I expect to see a little bit more from Padgett; but other than that, the rotations will be same.  We need the same guys to step up and come through. Tonight is not a time for nerves.  The Terps need to do work.  They need to prove that they are who we thought they were at the beginning of the season.

    • okaybowler
Thats a great point Ricksterps about D not going into a slump. That's what kept us in the Clemson and Wake games.
    • Ricksterps
When we get to the FT line and play good D, we win. Gary has this team buying in to playing D to win. It is SO much easier to score in transition off your defense than go up against that half court D.

      Milbourne had a great game last night 18pts 6reb 3blocks 3steals
That is playing well on both ends of the court.

One of the biggest things has been GV improving his D. He has really bought in on playing sound D and creating havoc.

Defense never goes in a slump. You will have off shooting nights but playing good D is about effort and technique.
    • turtlepin67
Is there another freshman center in the country that is as important to his team as JW is to the Terps?

He is beginning to remind me of Sean May; not flashy, but so fundamentally sound.
    • DiamondbackRuss
      John Wall.
    • azterpfan
JWill has been nothing short of AWESOME, and now he is becoming really fun to watch with his dunking prowess! BEAT UNC!
    • jonbruns
Good call on the Sean May reference. I can definitely see that. And Lonny Baxter. He has fared really really well against some highly regarded ACC Bigs (NCSt-Smith, Clem-Booker, FSU-Alabi). I was hoping for some rebounding from him this year. We are getting so much more.
    • eddienj
Lonnie Baxter is definitely a good comparison. At this point in his career, J-Will is a much better defender. His offensive game needs more polish but that can come later. Lonnie as an upperclassman was an extremely efficient post-player. He shielded his man so well and his finishing was great. He had that little baby-hook going to his right on the face-up too. Lonnie made himself a good player. He didn't come to College Park with that game. I think J-Will has a jump start on Lonnie. At his current progression he could become something really special.

Funny quotes from a FSU message board, "Leonard Hamilton, making Top 30 players undraftable since 2004"....."What would Gary Williams do with our talent?".

GV brings alot of heat on himself on the road because he is who he is. But no one should have to endure blatant racism while playing basketball. Students were holding up signs that said "Deport Vasquez" and "Vasquez your mom cleans my house". This leaves a bad taste in my mouth. I hope the FSU administration issues a public apology.

Terrell Stoglin must be watching our games and thinking, "Damn! I'm gonna start at PG from day one!".
    • Ricksterps
Yea, unless things change I can see Tucker and Bowie coming off the bench by ACC play next year. Gary will probably give them the starting job to open the season but I see them being supplanted as the season goes on.
    • eddienj
In fact, don't you see a bigger lineup next year just because of the personnel? I can see a lineup like this:

Starters: J-Will, Dino, Mosley, Tucker, Stoglin
Rotation: Padgett, Parker, Pankey, Howard, Bowie

I think by conference season we could see this starting lineup:

      J-Will, Dino, Parker, Mosley, Stoglin

That would put Mosley at the 2-spot. A big lineup. The concern is where the points will come from.
    • Ricksterps
It is very hard to predict how incoming freshmen will perform. If we don't get some points from a couple of them, we will be in serious trouble next season. Having said that, I really like the class we have coming in next season. I think they will be really fun to watch. Frustrating at times, but fun.

Before I get reprimanded, I know, we still have a long way to go this season.

      GO TERPS
    • DiamondbackRuss
Yes, don't let UNC off the mat indeed. They've lost 5 of their last 6 and 6 of their last 8 games. Ol' Roy's been tinkering with the lineup but they're definitely a work in progress. Terps gotta get that W.

As for some in the FSU student section they're not that smart. They were screaming at Greivis to go back to Mexico.

But that very clearly audible "you suck d**k!" at the end of the game was priceless. I believe it was aimed at referee Karl Hess.
    • Wheels
To pick up on what DBR said, here's a quote from the WaPo's Terps beat writer (Steve Yanda) from Terrapin Insider:

"2) Composure. There were some nasty, vile comments directed at Greivis Vasquez tonight. That's nothing new for him, but even so, it hadn't been this bad since the game at N.C. State last season. The Florida State student section (and yes, I'm unfairly grouping all the students in that section together) acted like a bunch of unintelligent, immature children. They were the most classless bunch I've yet experienced at a road ACC venue. And yet, Vasquez remained unaffected. Sure, he shimmied with a little extra vigor after some shots, but he never became out of control. He did not let his emotions consume him. That, folks, is called improvement. Vasquez shot 6 for 6 from the charity stripe. And in fact, Maryland shot 80.0 percent (16 for 20) from the free throw line on the night, which served the Terrapins well, especially down the stretch."

Will the media now pick up on the FSU fans are boorish, or is that only reserved for MD fans when Dook comes to town? Watch for this. It's total crap but ESPN loves to bring this out for MD-Dook.

This team is starting to remind me of the Blake-Nicholas team that almost made it to the Elite 8 the year after the NC. Like that team, this team is pretty much out-athleted by most teams it will face from here on out. What they do well, like that team, is play great team defense. I think MD's D has gone so far under the radar, but they have been making teams 1 dimensional.

Gary was the first to figure out how to beat Dook and everyone still follows that blueprint. Notice that this current team is doing the same thing. They really force teams to work in the halfcourt, and they contest so many shots inside the 3. They may not block many shots, but they challenge the teams. It seems they are willing to let teams fire away from 3 and hope that they shoot south of 33%. This might even work against Dook.

Must win against UNC. Seniors must step up. Don't let UNC off the mat. MD's senior 3 starters had 53 points against UNC. We need another game like that from them against UNC. A wounded animal is dangerous.
    • Jacob
In other random news: Cincinnati's marquee wins look like they're both from Maui. Vanderbilt and Maryland. Of course they play in the Big East so they'll have plenty of opportunities for big wins.
They're star freshman, Lance isn't the NBA player he thought he was: He has a nice round 12 pts, 5 rebs 3 assists per game. I guess thats pretty good for a freshman forward in the BE.
    • DiamondbackRuss
      At the game in Tallahassee:

      A Deport Vazquez sign.
The Nole Zone holding up green cards every time he looked over.
Referee Karl Hess getting hit in the face with a drink... among other things that were thrown but missed.

And did the Terps really only make 3 FG's the last 11:36 of the game? All the other points were off of FTs? Wow.

So glad to get this win.

      GO TERPS!
    • chiterp
hmm...interesting observation bro. My wife sawthe "deport Vaz" signs.

Gotta luv College b-ball. I never really thot of how hard it can be to win on the road..like sum dude on ESPN said one time, "how would you feel if you had to give a presentation but the crowd was booing you the whole time?"

Well, i know Vaz got booed everytime he had the ball. He might like to say the boos "fuel" him...but that's a lie. I get it though. Just happy that we have been winning ACC games at home AND have stolen a couple on the road.

Whar a good night for me. Sunday cannot come quick enough
    • Gregg
To answer my earlier question, UNC will fly to Maryland Friday to get ahead of the storm. It's an extra day on the road for a team that's reeling right now. Hopefully, they continue to feel bad about themselves until Monday, then they can start winning again.
    • DiamondbackRuss
They better hurry and catch the last loser's flight out of Blacksburg
    • Jacob
In situations like that, if UNC asks, does Maryland let them have the court for practice purposes if it isn't already in use?
Would UNC have to go to some local YMCA to run sets, or would they be forced to practice somewhere like Ritchie or the Armory?
I know there is no shortage of basketball courts on or near campus, but if UNC specifically asked to use the ones at comcast, do you think the sports admin would allow it?
    • Ricksterps
They gave me my close win baby! I am happy Chi :)

The played very solid D tonight. We need to get the ball in the basket but 74 points isn't terrible. Jwill is playing like a beast. I know some thought he would be soft but he is far from it. Not afraid to mix it up in the paint.

Where did our bench scoring go? Tucker and Bowie are just lost out there. Padge got one stinkin' minute. Gary just doesn't trust him right now.

Still not sure why Bowie is in at the end of these close games. Maybe next game he will rock the rim with a thunder dunk at the buzzer.

Great road win. Just need two more road wins to get to four.

      Awesome night for our boys.
    • spmd
while i realize you know little about basketball jadams, i dont see how mosley was horrid tonight. dude doesnt hurt us much on offense if he's not scoring and he's always playing d and getting a lot of boards. his man singleton was 1-7..
    • jadams5214
Spmd first off there is no need for personal attacks. I understand that those with simple minds resort to attacking others but try to hold yourself to a reasonable standard of conduct. And if you could comprehend what I wrote I merely said that Mosley has been struggling offensively and is not shooting well. Right now on a team with 3 seniors that handle the bulk of the scoring load the Terps can get by. But as the season goes on, and next season when he will be counted on to score much more is where his lack of offense becomes worrisome. He was only the 5th leading rebounder for the Terps tonight but his defense was definitely impressive.

I will try to make my posts simpler in the future as to not go over your head...
    • idkwid
yeah, the three other scorers are graduating, so a lot of production for next year rides on Mosely, also, at least two more have to step up, one should be tucker, beyond that, one of the new guys, maybe Parker, and/or JW stepping it up into a 12 pt or moreavag.
    • Mike
Can't say enough good things about JWill. He comes to play every game, and is never intimidated. He's more than almost anyone expected already.
    • idkwid
and very consistent, hardly ever has a bad game, a rock, the oundation of outr near term future.
    • Gregg
I think we need to prepare for the possibility that Sunday's game gets postponed due to the blizzard. That would suck since I would hate to give UNC the rest of the season to get their act together, but we'll have to see what happens.
    • jonbruns
Wouldnt it just be postpned til Monday afternoon-ish? I remember a game a while back I went to against Wake. There was a huge snowstorm and they played the game on Monday afternoon. It was really cool, there were no cheerleaders, no announcer, no fancy stuff. They allowed any student in. It was a great old school atmosphere.
    • jadams5214
IT was ugly but any road win for the Terps can only be described as beautiful!

The Terps played hard for the entire game even when not shooting well. The Alabi was great. Kinchen had an incredible game - surprised the Terps could not come close to stopping him for the most part. FSU still only shot 37% even with Kinchen going 12 for 16. The Terps held the rest of the team to under 25% shooting which is outstanding.

There is obviously still a lot to work on. The 3 point shooting was abysmal for the second straight game. The Terps had been shooting so well from outside for a while but that appears to have been a fluke. Tucker has disappeared and the bench has gone silent.

Mosley --- what the heck has happened to this guy??? So many were talking about him being a real force this year. I harken back to his and Gary's comments about his extra shooting practice before the Longwood game. Both talked about how confident Mosley was and that his shooting should prosper for the rest of the year. Well after a couple of 3 for 8 games tonight he produces a horrid 0-4 effort. His offense has not improved as the season has progressed which is a huge disappointment. Terps are really going to struggle to score next year if he doesn't vastly improve.

All in all a big ACC win for the Terps tonight. They now have a chance to really make some noise in the next 3 games. UNC is about done and the Terps need to dominate early and not give them any hope. UVA will be a much more difficult game than previously thought but the Terps have a chance. Win those two and it will be onto Duke for conference supremacy! Winning 2 out of the next 3 will be more than sufficient - hope the Terps are up to the task.
    • DiamondbackRuss
True, Mosley's shot wasn't falling tonight but the kid was smart enough to realize that and did other things. He had four rebounds, three assists, two steals and one impressive block on one of Alabi's shots. Plus Singleton was a non factor thanks to Sean.
    • GERRY
Tucker, Bowie and Mosely's lack of scoring will begin to factor this year and next.
Looks to me like Mosely spending too much time in the paint. Realize he's
D'ing up their better players but we need him logging in 10-12ppg's

Hayes and overall team 3 Pt FG production seriously off. Is Hayes forcing the 3?
These things need to be fixed asap.
    • ecg
Gutsy performance by the Terps, especially starting off Sloooow and still not caving to the pressure. JWill with 4 dunks, he is getting better by the game. Remember when we all would be happy with the Freshmen just getting boards....way better than expected! But I do have to concede FSH cheelearders >>>>>Md's. Oh yeah glad Md came out to play in the second half.
    • idkwid
what were the terps on FT's?, it must have been pretty good, i would guess around 16/20.
    • aholla3
      14/18
    • idkwid
i am confused a little on that call where Dino took the charge, because GV took the free throws. On a charge, thay don't consider it was the defender who was fouled? I know, ususally there is no shot for a charge, but it was over the 10 limit.
    • aholla3
An offensive foul doesnt warrant a free throw. Grievis got fouled after that I think.
    • idkwid
how? dead ball after that, i didn't see a throw in. Was it because of the double bonus?
    • Gregg
TV missed the Terps throwing the ball in.
    • jonbruns
I dont even think they THREW it in. GV was fouled when they were runnning around setting screens and stuff to get the inbound.
    • Will
That's what I thought too. Isn't a foul away from the ball with under a minute supposed to be intentional? Otherwise teams would just foul the worst free-throw shooter every time. This happened again a few seconds later when Mosley got fouled and Gary said "horrible call" or something to that effect.
    • Jacob
Florida State has the best FG Defense in the country. The Terps have the 5th best FG defense in the country. Tonight the Terps came out on top.
    • idkwid
Dino did not have great stats, but he played a really good game, did all the little things, good positioning, hit is FT's, the best off the bench today
    • tommyg4
I agree he showed signs of improvement, he did get dominated on the boards a lot tonight, though. That's what he's in there to do, rebound and defend. He can do better than 3 rebounds in 13 minutes,
    • tommyg4
that charge he took was gigantic though!!
    • testudophile
Hard to take a way a good feeling from that win considering how atrocious the refereeing was.
    • jonbruns
I can't really think of any atrocious calls.
    • Jacob
Big plays near the end: (Neither are scores) Landon's REBOUND and Dino's taken CHARGE!
    • Gregg
What a gutsy, GUTSY win. With that one victory, we get the confidence to win a close game... a huge road win in the top 50... and a sweep of a team likely to go to the dance. Unbelieveable effort in a hostile environment.
    • chiterp
yeah, we won a close one. You happy Ricksterps?...also hope you happy that i did not get a coronary here. LOL

Might be the henny talking, but i luv u guys.

Oh whew! Kitchen's confidence was higher than my cholesterol. Glad his 27 points meant nothing....and way to shut down Alabi, my Nigerian brother. For like the 15th time in a row, we have shut down the other team's big dude.

Clemson was a good jolt for us. Now, let's just fuck UNC up on sunday...and then after that, kick UVA off the running for 1st in the ACC.

We did it guys. Almost halfway through the ACC season and we are 5-2. We have swept Fla State (don't think we have done that ever). If we finish 6-2 in the 1st half of conf play, i'll say we did well
    • chiterp
Basically, the game can be summed up as Kitchen v. the MD Snrs. Well, I'll take 3 dudes over 1 guy anytime.

Seriously, we should have done better, but I'll take the win. Experience is an awesome thing isn't it?

Unless a miracle happens, we are kinda fucked next year. If I recall, Hayes, Vaz & Mil were scoring as juniors. Our current jnrs don't seem to be doing well in ACC play. That shit has to end this year, otherwise, we finish at the bottom half of the ACC. Jordan can't do it all by himself.

I digress. Good win. Let's now take down a wounded UNC
    • jonbruns
JWill is playing pretty well. He might be huge next year. And Mosley. I worry a bit about Bowie. And Tucker seems to be an enigma.
    • okaybowler
I think Bowie air-balled it twice. Once from the paint and once from the arc. Next years team could struggle, but the year after that (Mosley's senior year) could be awesome.
    • oh and we can effectively end UNCs season with a win on Saturday.
    • a road win against the #30 RPI team is going to wonders for our own ranking. It's not the signature win that critics want but it was one hell of a performance.
    • NYMets9631
jon do you know why GV shot the foul shots on that charge?
    • jonbruns
GV was fouled on the inbounds after the charge. Basically before the Terps threw the ball in. Gary was pissed because we couldn't burn any clock.
    • they fouled GV on the ensuing inbounds. the cameras just missed it. a charge call does get free throws on the other end.
    • RT Travaloni
      Ridiculous. I yelled myself hoarse.
    • jonbruns
He doesn't get a lot of love, but big props to Dino. Taking that charge probably won us the game. And it WAS a charge.
    • eddienj
I am completely worn out. But I love everybody. I love our Terps. I love The Soup.
    • NYMets9631
      huge win!!!! YA BABY!!!
    • That's a great win. I need a sedative.
    • chiterp
told ya!....told ya! told ya!! told ya!....should not have been so close though. They should have called a T on the FSU coach
    • cjazh
What was the play at the end?
    • Jacob
Singleton could have bounced it off the rim at the back end of a 1 and 1 for the potential putback to time the game. Singleton simply bounced it off the backboard which doesn't count since it needs to hit the rim. Terps got the ball. Vasquez was fouled with 1 second left and hit two free throws amidist classy chants of "F*** You Vasquez" for the seal.
    • idkwid
I don;t even think he hit the backboard
    • Jacob
      tie the game*

We needed this win so badly.
    • DiamondbackRuss
      Whew. Just Whew.
    • Jacob
Knoche just said Singleton just made "an unbeliveably stupid play!" ha call it like it is, call it like it is.
    • DiamondbackRuss
Any time ya'll wanna T up Bunny Colvin have at it Karl Hess
    • idkwid
      the Wire?
    • Jacob
If I were a Fla St. fan I'd be really pissed at the officiating.
    • RT Travaloni
oh god oh god oh god oh god oh god.
    • NYMets9631
why was that GV that shot the foul shots on that charge?
    • KV
I was wondering the same thing.
    • DiamondbackRuss
Just get the ball in bounds successfully please.
    • Jacob
Who do they get the ball to for the final shot? No one has proven to be a big game shooter!
    • NYMets9631
      WOW
    • Jacob
      Stop kitchen. stop Alabi
    • absolutely the right call. courageous officiating.
    • DiamondbackRuss
      Oh WOW. OH WOW.
    • GERRY
      Where is mosely?
    • great block but that only happens to bowie.
    • eddienj
why was Bowie in there in crunch time?
    • Jacob
Mosley has proven that he is a scorer.. but he is not clutch by any means. He missed open big game shots at wake and clemson late in the game.
    • RT Travaloni
      gregory's ft percentage? Shocking.
    • Jacob
I was thinking the same thing. I like it!
    • chiterp
      i'm worried brothers...very worried
    • jonbruns
FSU definitely recruits 5-Star Cheerleaders. Nice.
    • get gregory out of there.
    • Jacob
      Stop kitchen.
    • DiamondbackRuss
Jesus. The Kitchen is on fire. Someone extinguish him.
    • RT Travaloni
      and he makes it count.
    • NYMets9631
      so nervous
    • Jacob
We need this game so bad. Theres only so many away games we can lose by so so few points.
    • If we win; that rebound by Milbourne will go down as one of the greatest rebounds ever. wow! did he sky for that. sadly vaz looked like the vaz from wake on that last possession. not even looking to pass and settling for the fadeaway.
    • RT Travaloni
      That's a man's rebound. Landon just grew a beard in mid-air.
    • DiamondbackRuss
WOW. Wut a rebound by Milbourne
    • okaybowler
that was an increadible hustle play by landon.
    • chiterp
      fuck! fuck!! fuck!!!
    • DiamondbackRuss
Wut was Eric Hayes doing before the FT? The Stanky Leg?
    • chiterp
      oh damn...we need jordan.
    • DiamondbackRuss
He never touched him. But, he should have just let him score to remove all possibility of a foul call
    • HORRENDOUS FOUL CALL ON WILLIAMS
    • DiamondbackRuss
Other than Padge's FT there are no bench points for the Terps
    • RT Travaloni
      creepy Hardees ads.
    • chiterp
oh damn, DBR U were right...we gotta stop kitchen...he is doing to us what that 1 kid from VCU (I forget his name) did to Duke in the tourney like 2-3 years ago.

Somebody take a charge on him or something
    • eddienj
Eric Maynor, now with the Oklahoma City Thunder
    • chiterp
      yeah, thanks dude.

Why have i seen like 30 FSU buckets just roll n bounce into the basket???? so frustrating!
    • the last three minutes: kitchen lay up. FSU foul. Kitchin layup. FSU foul. Kitchin layup. FSU foul.
    • DiamondbackRuss
During this time out I hope they figure out who the heck is going to guard Kitchen. Yeesh
    • eddienj
Kitchen is killing us. Just killing us.
    • they keep fouling us. it's making it easy.
    • bowie with the airball almost assist to padgett. he is regressing by the minute.
    • chiterp
      1 bench points. so sad
    • DiamondbackRuss
      James Padgett sighting
    • Jacob
Landon is playing up to expectations. Williams is playing well too. Everyone else? Meh to Ugh.

We have a legit shot to win this game as long as we keep the intensity up.
I've noticed that against clemson we looked flat and uninspired. Vastly different than our home games where fist pumps, chest bumps and hand slaps were the norm. COme on guys, play like you want it!
    • chiterp
how could u be so heartless....oh!
    • DiamondbackRuss
I never thought I'd say this but, if we can stop Derwin Kitchen we got a chance to win
    • RT Travaloni
A couple times thought we've been running the plays through even when the seminoles have them snuffed out. We continue to play great D.
    • DiamondbackRuss
Ain't it amazing wut happens when the Terps execute a set play?
    • Jacob
I love that Vasquez did the Shimmy. Holiday didn't even need to say it, i just KNEW he did it when i heard the crowd boo him ha
    • RT Travaloni
Imagine Braxton Dupree making that catch J Will made. Not to harp on a guy...
    • RT Travaloni
the whole j will dunking thing? moot.
    • NYMets9631
      i love jordan williams
    • GERRY
OK gv has 4 TO.... is he just throwing it away of are they D'ing him up?
    • Awful turnover by vasquez. chance to go up 4 and he gives them an easy layup. that's the second time tonight.
    • RT Travaloni
hotness! hotness at the start of the half!!!
    • what a start! that start could be the turning point.
    • DiamondbackRuss
      YEAH BABY YEAH
    • DiamondbackRuss
Come on Terps. Let's play Maryland basketball this half and get this W
    • JohnE
Gametracker too. Second half gotta do it. Carpe diem!
    • NYMets9631
Gregg you couldn't of said that any better, I hate how J-Will got that 2nd foul on him and it wasn't even his fault
    • GERRY
      I'm reduced to Gametracker.

      We're shooting 33% to 31%
      They outrebounded us by 10 ....26-16. We're 0-6 on 3PT's. Hayes is O'fer.

Tough to win games like that....gotta turn it around.
    • Every game im just more and more in awe of Jordan Williams' defense. If he's not on the All-Defensive team at the end of the year, I will throw a hissy fit. He's shutting down Alabi. Shutting him down. He's got 6 points, and they've come on an outside jumper, against Milbourne and against Mosley on a switch. He's done absolutely nothing when 1-on-1 with Williams, which is just mind--boggling considering how well Alabi's played against everyone else.
    • Gregg
Tucker's lazy attempt at a steal cost us 3 points and JW a foul.
    • jonbruns
Like your confidence ChiTerp. Need to start hitting some shots.
    • DiamondbackRuss
Well, I'm glad that's over. That wasn't very pleasing to watch. Gotta play MUCH better in 2nd half
    • chiterp
we are going to win this game ladies. mark the tape.
    • hayes and tucker won't even look at the hoop when they are open. sheesh.
    • okaybowler
There's that high/low b/w GV and EH that they used to run all the time last year.
    • the second chance points for the seminoles are killing us.
    • DiamondbackRuss
Karl Hess is one whistle blowing ref. Does he get paid by the whistle or what?
    • this could get ugly if md doesn't start to score
    • those hayes misses were huge. could have gone up 7. vasquez is forcing things and mosley is MIA. those three need to step up.
    • DiamondbackRuss
Oh boy. We're not shooting well at all.
    • jonbruns
      Hayes is Ice-Cold. He's missed 4 three's.
    • jonbruns
Great D from the Terps though.
    • DiamondbackRuss
Is that FSU kid's name really Dukies?
    • jonbruns
      Vasquez not playing well.
    • DiamondbackRuss
Snaer playing with more confidence than the last time we played.
    • NYMets9631
good start so far. VT pouring it on UNC...I hope we don't catch them at a bad time
    • landon came to play. Vaz's decision making is a little shaky so far. he's forced a pass and taken a bad shot. if he settles like i think he will, the Terps will be fine.
    • DiamondbackRuss
All our points so far are from Landon and Jordan.
They're booing Vaz like he committed then decommitted from FSU
    • eddienj
I will predict 20 points for Landon tonight after his atypical off-night against Clemson.
    • okaybowler
I'd say Cliff is about due for a big game, right?
    • DiamondbackRuss
Florida State 5 and Jordan Williams 4. Gawd I hope this isn't going to be Clemson part 2
    • okaybowler
      Jordan Williams is my hero.

      GO TERPS!
    • DiamondbackRuss
Had hoped for a better start than this
    • Lights just went out at the Civic Center. I'm not sure if that will effect the start of the game or not.
    • Jacob
      ruh uh.

I guess the seminoles know they're going to be in for a real fight and are trying to hold off the pain as long as possible :)
    • Ricksterps
It is on ESPN 360. Click on the upcoming games tab.
    • DiamondbackRuss
Depending on where you are in Florida the game may be blacked out on ESPN360.com. I got a "We're sorry. This ESPN360.com event is blacked out in your area" message. I think you have to be South of Tampa and north of Miami to not be blacked out in Florida for the Terps game tonight SMH
    • GERRY
Hey ...I'm in Fl tonight (Comcast) and not our GA digs (Direct-tv) so what are my viewing options. Can't find it on Comcast or ESPN 360 or Channel Surfing.
Someone please tell me I am not reduced to Gametracker.

      Thanks

      Go Terps
    • Jacob
raycomsports.com streams games. signup is free. I generally hate even free signup sites, but I figured the Terps were worth it since I don't have a TV
    • Mike_13254
One thing I have noticed is that Vasquez rarely has two bad games back to back.
    • I will be twittering (@Turtlesportsrep and now on my personal twitter, @ethanrothstein) and writing a recap for TurtleSportsReport.com tonight, in case any of you want to check it out. The Terps need this one to stay near the top. Padge will see the floor, Greivis should have a big game, and watch Williams to smother the bigger Alabi. Go Terps!
    • DiamondbackRuss
I curse my friend Jeff for moving from Tallahassee to California. We were going to this game and I was gonna crash at his place. Oh well. Gotta watch it online. GO TERPS!

Oh and 2moro Palsson's Montverde team plays at 5PM on ESPNU. He hoped to visit the Terps this weekend for the UNC game but with Snowmageddon 2010 happening I'm not sure that will happen.
    • Jacob
Ha snowmageddon! You aren't just the recruiting insider on this board DBR, if you don't mind me saying, you're also the king of one-liners.

My apologies to everyone else's humourous quips
