Trayvon Reed Officially Commits To Terps

2014 Top 100 recruit and 7 foot tall center, Trayvon Reed has committed to the University of Maryland today.  Reports are coming in from all over that he has verball committed to the Terps.

Reed would be Turgeon's third top 100 recruit in the class of 2014.  Gone are the days when Gary Williams was picking through 3 star guys with no national ranking.  The program is now consistently getting good players.

Now, it's time to deliver on the court.

Roddy Peters Decision Thread

Fresh off an in-home visit from Dalonte Hill and Mark Turgeon, the #3 ranked PG (#47 overall) will announce his decision tomorrow.  Maryland, and Xavier are the favorites to land his services. In terms of a booby prize for not getting the Harrison, Peters would be amazing.  We all know that the Harrisons were "one and done" guys so it begs the q [...] Read More »

Maryland Just Got LeBroned By The Harrisons

Jesus, what the fuck was that? Why even pretend to include a school like Maryland in the decision process when all along you were planning on attending the NBA Lottery Factory?  I'm not even upset that they chose Kentucky, I'm just pissed that Maryland was led on like that.  Kentucky is an easy choice and the rationale obvious.  If those factors [...] Read More »

Sam Cassell Jr Likely Ineligible

I've been reading through everyone's comments in the previous thread and there's not much else to say.  Cassell seemed to be the kind of kid who basketball coursing through his veins and it would have been fun and satisfying to see him develop.  While not official, it's not looking good. The loss will be minimized, of course, if Dez Wells is giv [...] Read More »

Lax Championship Thread

I know precious little about Lacrosse; but I do have a rooting hierarchy.  Obviously, the Terps come first, forever and always.  After that, I root for Maryland-based schools in reverse order of their tradition of success.  As such, I root for Loyola over Hopkins and Navy and they give UMBC and Towson a run for their money too.  Yet, despite my all [...] Read More »
