I Strongly Dislike Randy Edsall

2012-10-27T14:27:14.89 Randy Edsall sucks as a tactical game coach.  End of Story.  The last eight minutes of the game against BC were a clinic on how to coach a game to lose.  

The Terps force a turnover inside the BC 40-yard line and instead of putting the game away; Edsall goes conservative and BC forces a three and out. We punt it back to BC and play a prevent defense (not one blitz!) so that the Eagles can drive all the down the field on us for the go-ahead score.

Edsall may work hard. Edsall may be a good recruiter.  I don't care. As a game coach, he is an idiot with no guts.

This is the second week in a row where Edsall's conservative play calling has cost the team the game.  Last week, we should have gone for it on 4th and 1 at the 50 yard-line.  This week, he took his foot off the gas with 8 minutes left once we took the lead.

How does a man spend his entire adult life working in football and not realize that no one-score lead is ever safe?  This is team is 4-4 and should be 6-2 if they had a coach with a brain and set of balls.  The kids and the fans deserve better than this loser.
