1/30/20 Maryland vs Iowa

The Terps are in a top 20 match up at home! Can you feel the excitement? I get it. Iowa doesn’t exactly bring the excitement but it’s an important game nonetheless. The Terps must run the table at home given how difficult the road in the big ten is this year.

Maryland should be riding high after an exhilarating win at Indiana over the weekend. A win vs Iowa and the Terps will be firmly entrenched as one of the top teams in the conference.

1/26/20 Maryland vs Indiana

Maybe I should forget to post game threads on the road. I missed the Northwestern game and they finally won a road game. Northwestern stinks and somehow they we were beating us by 14 at the half. It is absurd at this point. The poor starts, the offensive scheme. I’m at a loss. Now we head to Bloomington to face a team that Maryland crushed in Co [...] Read More »

1/18/20 Maryland vs Purdue

Is anyone excited about this game? Am I the only one that approaches every game with a sense of dread? I truly don’t get enjoyment out of it. My only hope is to avoid bitter disappointment. I’m compelled to watch but the fun is oozing out of me. Earlier in the week, Terp fans got a healthy dose of bitterness with an utterly inexcus [...] Read More »

1/9/20 Maryland @ Iowa

Maryland is coming off an impressive start to the Big Ten slate. Wins against Indiana and Ohio State have rebuilt fans confidence in this team. However, the Terps must prove to themselves that can win on the road in order for folks to them seriously as Big Ten contenders. Iowa presents their typical challenge. They are extremely tough to play at Ca [...] Read More »

1/7/20 Maryland vs Ohio State

The slow start was still there but the Terps turned in their best performance of the season I’ve et he game’s final 30 minutes on Saturday. Indiana is decent. They have a KenPom Top 10 win against Florida State so this should give fans a measure of confidence. That confidence can be bolstered further if the Terps can take down Ohio Sta [...] Read More »

1/4/20 Maryland vs Indiana

The Terps are officially done with the non conference schedule and play Big Ten opponents the rest of the way. We should expect a pretty tough go of it as early return later suggest the conference is deep. There will be no easy road games. Either way, Maryland needs to figure a way out of a tumultuous December. In addition to playing a [...] Read More »

12/30/19 Maryland vs Bryant

It has been a calamitous 3 weeks for Maryland. Two confounding road losses to inferior opponents where the Terps appeared completely lost on offense. Then, the Mitchell twins are transferring in what appears to be a mutual decision. The word is that the twins lacked discipline and a good work ethic and Turgeon had had enough. Regardless it’s a bad [...] Read More »

12/19/19 #7 Maryland vs Seton Hall

The Chol Marial era begins tonight vs Seton Hall. He’s been activated. I doubt he’ll play significant minutes but it is exciting that he’s suiting up. 7’2” center could be a game changer for Maryland if he can become a contributor. He’d make an already stout defense into one of the best in the country. For Seton Hall’s part, they’ll likely be wi [...] Read More »

12/10/19 #4 Maryland vs Penn State

Maryland escaped with a win vs Illinois on Saturday. If we are being honest, the Terps should have lost and the late game HEROICS from Ant Cowan are the only reason they are still undefeated. The Terps reverted back to their trend of hideous late and sluggish starts. Illinois ran out to a double digit lead and It took 11-1 run to end the game for M [...] Read More »

12/7/19 Illinois vs #3 Maryland

The Terps are off to their best start in a generation and are comfortably situated at the top of the rankings. The defense, rebounding, ball security have been stellar. If the shooting ever comes around, watch out! Granted, Maryland has yet to beat a ranked opponent but they’ve dominated teams just outside the rankings. Today will be no differ [...] Read More »
