Maryland vs. Minnesota

1/18/2018 2:28:49 PM I hope you are all recovered from Monday night. That was gut-wrenching. There are no moral victories. College Basketball is a zero sum game. You either win or you lose. Perhaps, there is some solace to be gleaned from the way the team fought back from 10 points down late in the game, although, the argument can be made that giving away a 14-point outweighs the comeback. In the final analysis, it doesn't matter. The Terps lost.

Now at 14-6, the Terps are losing their margin for error. With games at home against Michigan State and road game against Purdue, the Terps can't afford any slip ups in winnable games. Tonight's game against Minnesota is one of those. The Golden Gophers are no pushovers although they've struggled this year. The Terps are now permanently under manned given the injury situation so every game will require their best effort.

I don't want to call tonight's game a "must-win" but it kinda is.
