#16 Maryland vs Ohio State

1/29/2015 12:32:24 PM The Terps will have their hands full tonight.  Road games in the B1G are a grind.  The officiating has been universally horrible with a bias towards the home team.  The teams fish in similar talent pools so pulling out road wins is a rarity.

Maryland has had good success but only when the defense is playing at an elite level.  The last two games have been far from elite. Both Indiana and Northwestern shot better than 50% from the floor. Few teams can win when they give their opponents open looks.  Tonight is no different.  If the Buckeyes hit more than 50% of their shots, we will lose.  Badly.  If the Terps can regain their defensive mojo, then we have a shot.  The wins at Iowa State and Oklahoma State occurred because we held those teams to poor shooting percentages.

A win, and the Terps would be sitting pretty at 19-3, 7-2 in the conference with a home game against Penn State next week to get to 20 wins with 9 games to go.  Who would have thought?
