Maryland controls its own destiny in terms of the regular season big ten title but that road goes through the state of Indiana.
The first test is in East Lafayette against the Boilermakers. Purdue gave Maryland all it could handle in college park a few weeks back and they are desperate for a win.
The Terps are still a work in progress. Melo's struggles have continued and the Terps could not stop Michigan defensively last week. Diamond Stone, in particular, was so bad that Turgeon couldn't play him down the stretch.
An optimist will say that Maryland recent struggles are understandable. Wisconsin is beating everyone right now and the Minnesota loss came with Stone in the lineup.
A pessimist would say that the Terps can't win a title with a turnover prone offense and poor defensive rebounding.
Maryland is good enough to beat Purdue today. A win and they will likely be playing for the regular season title in Bloomington next weekend.
